BadLand Games announced its partnership with The Vanir Project to bring Nightmare Boy to Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The side-scrolling platformer will take players to the land of Donorok in the region of Noctum, where the disappearance of Noctum’s king has ruined the balance between Monsters, Mongos, and Dreamers.

The children of Donorok have been trapped in an evil wizard’s dreamlike world, and only Nightmare Boy will be able to save them before it’s too late.

In Nightmare Boy, players will be able to defeat enemies and bosses as they explore a dark open world. Players will unlock new abilities and powers, such as double jumping, projectiles, and explosives, as they rescue the lost children. Users will also be able to discover hidden collectibles and gather precious stones as they play. Gamers will use these stones to save the game and purchase items in the game’s store.

Overall, the choices players make, such as whether or not they interact with other characters, will determine the ending they receive.

Nightmare Boy is expected to launch on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in the third quarter of 2017. The game is currently looking for votes on Steam Greenlight.

With the help of Novy Unlimited, Nightmare Boy has already received coverage on a variety of websites, including Big Boss Battle and DualShockers, among others.
