Stylish Puzzle Platformer BOOR Launching Today on Steam

20% off at launch for one week only!

MADRID — Feb. 14, 2017 — Published by BadLand Games and developed by Dazlog Studio, the 2D puzzle platformer BOOR is now available on Steam, with an extra 20% off for one week only! Save the colony of Eden by overcoming 80 rooms filled with challenging puzzles, deadly enemy robots, or tough bosses in this beautiful puzzle platformer for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

A little girl accidentally lands on Eden, a faraway human colony under siege by a malfunctioning A.I. known as BOOR. Alone and afraid, she must collect items, reveal secrets, and solve puzzles to put an end to BOOR’s evil master plan. Can she uncover the planet’s many mysteries? Will you help her survive the A.I.’s murderous intent and bring peace back to Eden?

Multiply yourself, run and jump, and stay on your toes to survive BOOR’s traps and hazards. Here’s how it works: Use the “multiply” power to take command of a clone — which can then complete dangerous tasks such as tricking robots into shooting each other, leaping over dangerous obstacles, and more. But you’ll also need to think strategically: You’re left vulnerable while you’re roaming, and clones tend to expire after a while.

“This is it: BOOR is finally available on Steam,” says Daniel Moreno, developer and founder of Dazlog Studio. “We’re incredibly lucky to have experienced some of the greatest platformers ever in Portal, Limbo, Braid, and other superlative indie games. BOOR is an immersive, mind-bending addition to the genre and we hope platforming fans enjoy their time in Eden!”

Key Features:

  • More than 80 engaging hand-drawn rooms to explore.
  • Mind-bending puzzles and beautiful scenarios to discover.
  • Investigate an alluring but strange world called Eden.
  • Collectibles and secrets to uncover.
  • Experience the power to multiply yourself.
  • OST produced by Paltian (Jacobo Cáceres) accompanies the captivating gameplay.

Pricing & Availability:

BOOR is available on Steam (Windows, Mac, and Linux) for $4.99/€4.99/£3.99. During the first week only, the game will be available at 20% off retail for $3.99/€3.99/£3.19.

Multiply Yourself to Save a Human Colony in BOOR

Arriving on Steam in Q1 2017

MADRID, Spain — Dec. 1, 2016 — BadLand Games has signed with developer Dazlog Studio to publish BOOR, a new 2D puzzle platformer that is set to arrive on Steam in Q1 2017. Run, jump, and use your unique ability to multiply yourself in order to save a human colony in this beautifully illustrated adventure!

Eden, a faraway human colony, was meant to offer humans a fresh start. To ensure a positive outcome, scientists developed the BOOR A.I., which was intended to make everyone’s lives easier, safer, and happier. However, something went wrong: BOOR suddenly turned against the colonists … nearly managing to wipe them out! When all seemed lost, a little girl, the only individual capable of putting an end to BOOR’s master plan, accidentally lands on the planet.

Featuring more than 70 intricately-detailed levels, BOOR will dare you to take on the role of this mysterious, unnamed girl. Multiply yourself to solve challenging puzzles, destroy enemy robots, and face tough end level bosses. Collect items, discover secrets, and push forward to shed light on the many mysteries of Eden and BOOR, of course!

“Some may dream of the perfect mate, or a brand new car. My dream was to make a puzzle platformer featuring hand-drawn art and an original gameplay mechanic — bringing something beautiful and challenging to players everywhere,” says Daniel Roldan, sole developer and founder of Dazlog Studio. “I worship at the altar of Braid, Limbo, Portal, and Super Meat Boy — and I hope players will deem BOOR worthy of their time.”

“We’re thrilled to be working with such a talented developer,” says Luis Quintans, CEO of BadLand Games. “BOOR is intriguing, challenging, and thought-provoking — everything we want in a modern puzzle platformer.”

Key Features:

  • Explore a beautiful world with stunning, hand-drawn environments.
  • Put your platforming skills to the test with more than 70 challenging maps.
  • Multiply yourself to get through puzzles, defeat dangerous enemies, and overcome
    end level bosses.
  • Experience environments filled to the brim with puzzles and secrets.
  • Uncover the mystery of Eden and save the human colony from extinction.

Pricing & Availability:

BOOR will be available on Steam (Windows, Mac, and Linux) in Q1 of 2017. Pricing and exact launch date are yet to be determined.
