Now available on iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — Nov. 5, 2015 — It’s time to put your detective skills to the test: Sherlock Holmes: Lost Detective can now be downloaded for free from the App Store. Join forces with Sherlock Holmes — the world’s greatest detective — in a new case 100 years in the making. Track leads, find clues, and solve complex puzzles in this new story-focused hidden object game for iOS.

Developed by The Other Guys and originally released as a Facebook game, Sherlock Holmes: Lost Detective has players take on the role of a rookie Scotland Yard agent who has stumbled across a crime that may be more complex than meets the eye. A strange masked man has appeared in London and is recreating Sherlock Holmes’ greatest cases down to the last bloody detail. Unsure of his motivations, you hunt for clues and try to put the pieces together in a thrilling adventure set in present day.

At your side is the great detective himself — or a patient who claims to be Sherlock Holmes! Is this man just another lost soul with delusions of grandeur? Could Sherlock Holmes still be alive after vanishing from the face of the earth more than 100 years ago?

Sherlock Holmes: Lost Detective first season is broken into 10 episodes — each containing new locations to explore, clues to find, and mysteries to solve. When you arrive at a crime scene, you must piece together clues from shredded bits of paper, hidden messages, and specific objects to uncover the truth. Finding the right items among the chaos can be tricky — and time is of the essence. The faster you’re able to find clues, the greater your rewards will be. Chain items and clues together for bigger bonuses and correctly identify all objects to receive the ultimate reward!

“We are always looking for new ways to tell stories through games. To accomplish that lofty goal in an episodic fashion, there is no better character than the world’s greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes,” says Pablo Mayer, co-founder of The Other Guys. “Is the man helping you solve cases really Sherlock Holmes? Can he be trusted? Can you reveal the identity of the masked man and shed light on his obsession with Sherlock Holmes? Download the game today… and find out!”
