“Tower in the Sky has a lot to offer players. Lots of characters and deep story, and a deep customization system.”

Assemble a Team of Unlikely Heroes & Unravel the Truth about the Ancients in Tower in the Sky: Tactics Edition
Launching today on Steam
EUGENE, Ore. – May 1, 2017 – Three Brothers Games’ minimalist lane-based strategy game Tower in the Sky: Tactics Edition is now available on Steam. Featuring charming visuals, a hilarious cast of characters and an expansive world map, Tower in the Sky: Tactics Edition will challenge you to think on your feet and strategically manage your team in order to uncover the mystery behind the Tower in the Sky … and stop so-called “Ancients” from pillaging your homeworld!
After an apocalypse leads to the collapse of civilization as we know it, the rich and powerful flee to an orbiting space station. To maintain life support, the Ancients send a single spaceship down to Earth every thousand years to gather resources required for their survival. The problem is that you’re one of the people who was left behind – and the arrival of the spaceship has plunged your kingdom (Tyrune) into utter chaos.
Build the ideal squad from a dozen different playable heroes, and place your champions across four different combat lanes – each filled with invading enemies of all shapes and sizes. All characters have unique stats and abilities – and they can be equipped with a huge variety of weapons, items, and collectible T-shirts. Killing enemies gives your characters crystals that can be used to buy upgrades from a Skill Tree – making them even more effective in combat!
Battle and strategize against dozens of unique enemy types across a full single-player campaign that spans a thousand years. Meet a colorful cast of NPCs as you explore the Kingdom of Tyrune and stop the Ancients dead in their tracks. And if you manage to get through the campaign, a New Game+ mode is unlocked for increased difficulty …
“My brother and I have always enjoyed playing tower defense games like Plants vs. Zombies, but we felt they were too casual and didn’t require enough strategy,” says Cosmos Corbin, co-founder and art/sound designer at Three Brothers Games. “Tower in the Sky: Tactics Edition is our answer: a streamlined strategy game where tactical thinking and team management are crucial if you intend to see the story to its conclusion!”
“While we wanted the emphasis to be on the strategy (hence the vector art), we also didn’t want to take ourselves too seriously,” says Eden Corbin, co-founder and lead coder at Three Brothers Games. “So we hired a professional comedian to help us write the NPC dialogue, which provides some humor and personality to help bring the world to life. Now players have a serious strategy game that gives their brains a workout while offering some hearty laughs along the way.”

About Three Brothers Games
Based in Eugene, Oregon, Three Brothers Games was founded in 2012 when Eden Corbin began creating a Spanish-language learning game. After teaching himself several game development technologies, he teamed up with his brother Cosmos to begin developing Tower in the Sky. Cosmos’ love for creating little worlds out of music and art contributed to the visual and audio design – while Eden, as the lead coder, did the heavy lifting to bring the game to fruition. Three Brothers Games has also been involved in the development and publishing of Quadrant Horror (a first-person horror game) on Steam. In addition to Tower in the Sky, another original game is planned for release in 2017.
