SBK Team Manager, the follow-up to Digital Tales’ SBK Official Mobile Game (based on the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship license), is being unveiled at Gamescom 2018.

In contrast to the previous entry in the franchise, SBK Team Manager will focus on the management side of the sport and will include the 2018 season’s riders, teams, bikes, and circuits in stunning 3D.

SBK Team Manager is a detailed simulation that will teach players how a racing crew actually works – and how difficult it is to manage mechanics, riders, and data. Hiring the best riders is not enough: To win, players also need a solid team in the pit lane!

The game will allow Superbike aficionados to lead their teams to victory through strategy and teamwork beyond the track. Players will get to build their own teams (complete with custom colors and logos), hire the best talent, sign sponsorship deals to secure funding – and even
choose their favorite bikes from the seven manufacturers competing in the 2018 Superbike World Championship (Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta, and Yamaha).

Breaking new ground on mobile, SBK Team Manager will be the very first 3D Superbike management sim for smartphones and tablets.

The gameplay is divided into 3 phases:

  • Team Management: Including budget, staff, and sponsors.
  • Pre-Race: Bike setup during practice and qualifying sessions.
  • 3D Live Racing: Real-time race monitoring; interact with riders through the pitboard and via tactical interface.

With realistic 3D graphics and exciting Live Races, SBK Team Manager will cater to both Superbike racing and management simulation fans wanting to go beyond the simplified 2D visuals and text-based interfaces found in most management simulators.

Available on iOS and Android in Fall 2018, SBK Team Manager has been featured in a number of outlets – including RideApart, TeamVVV, Gaming Cypher, The Gaming Ground, DroidHorizon, and Gert Lush Gaming.
