Publisher BadLand Games and Czech studio Dreadlocks announced a demo is now available for acclaimed cyberpunk RPG, Dex. The free demo allows gamers on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam (PC) to dive into the world of Harbor Prime, where they’ll meet Dex, an AI on a quest for the Singularity — a theoretical “event horizon” in which artificial intelligence will surpass human intelligence.
In Dex, gamers will explore a variety of locations, where they can defeat enemies, steal corporate data, hack turrets, overload devices, and more. Players can improve Dex’s skills over time, and their choices will allow Dex to become a character that suits their play style.
As part of this release, gamers who complete the Dex demo will receive a selection of digital rewards, including Dex wallpapers, avatars, a digital artbook, and more. In addition, to celebrate the demo’s release, BadLand Games is giving away free game codes to 20 lucky winners, who will each be able to choose their preferred platform.
Finally, for European players interested in purchasing Dex, the game is now 50% off on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, as part of the PlayStation Easter Sale. The sale runs from April 5-26, and is currently only available for EU customers.
With the help of Novy Unlimited, Dex has been covered by a variety of outlets, including Hardcore Gamer, Brash Games, and RPGWatch, among others.
