Hit Japanese publisher LEVEL-5 announced “Level-5 Vision 2016,” an exciting initiative focusing on heroes across all its top-tier entertainment and gaming properties.

This focus on engaging characters will help the company continue its amazing success across new and current IP and platforms. The publisher announced a bevy of hero-led titles, including Lady Layton: The Millionaire Ariadone’s Consipracy, Inazuma Eleven Ares, The Snack World and Megaton Musashi, among others.

With this new initiative, LEVEL-5 plans on continuing its evolution as a company that can release video game and other entertainment franchises within and outside of Japan itself.

As one of LEVEL-5’s masterpieces, the Professor Layton series of puzzle adventure games has sold more than 15.5 million units worldwide to date. Its newest official sequel, Lady Layton: The Millionaire Ariadone’s Conspiracy is set to release Spring 2017 on Nintendo 3DS/Android/iOS.

The RPG titled The Snack World, LEVEL-5’s fourth cross-media project, is set to release on Android/iOS devices in April 2017 as well as on the Nintendo 3DS platform in July 2017.

Inazuma Eleven Ares is the seventh title in the Inazuma Eleven series, which has sold over 8 million units worldwide to date. The story in Inazuma Eleven Ares will take place right after the series’ first title, Inazuma Eleven, and this newset iteration will be developed as a parallel world story with a television series slated for Summer 2017.

Megaton Musashi was announced as the fifth cross-media project for LEVEL-5. The concept here is “the combination of classic robot stories and school mysteries,” with action battles among robots meshing with thrilling suspense-drama in the schools the protagonists attend.

LEVEL-5’s latest strategy has garnered a lot of press attention at Crunchyroll, TechnnoBuffalo, Polygon, Eurogamer, IGN and Forbes.
